The partnership brings together WAPES’ global network of public employment services and IEP’s expertise in professional standards, workforce development, and evidence-led employability practice. Through this collaboration, the organisations will explore joint activity across learning and capability building, research, expert exchange, and events.

The partnership will also draw on the work of the IEP’s Global Centre for Employability Excellence (CfEE), supporting the sharing of international evidence, insight, and examples of effective practice across different labour market contexts.

“We are delighted to formalise our partnership with WAPES. This collaboration brings together a shared commitment to professional capability, evidence-led practice, and international learning. By working together, we can support practitioners and organisations across public employment services to learn from global insight and strengthen the quality and effectiveness of employment support.”
Scott Parkin FIEP FRSA, Group Chief Executive, Institute of Employability Professionals

“Public Employment Services are facing rapid changes in labour markets and skill needs. Through this partnership with the Institute of Employability Professionals, WAPES aims to strengthen the capacities of PES practitioners worldwide and to foster international learning on effective employment support. Our recent webinar on future skills for PES counsellors has already demonstrated the value of bringing our communities together.”
Amandine Moignard, Executive Secretary, World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES)
