Coaching with Impact
This introductory workshop provides a foundation in coaching, exploring what effective coaching looks like and the qualities of a good coach. You’ll leave with practical techniques and interventions you can apply straight away to support participants on their journey towards employment.
Emotional Intelligence
This workshop explores the importance of understanding and managing emotions in a professional setting. Through practical strategies and techniques, you’ll learn how to strengthen your emotional intelligence — a skill that is essential for building relationships, enhancing performance, and supporting both personal and professional growth.
The Art of Disclosure
This workshop explores the nuances of sharing personal information in a professional context. You’ll gain practical insights into when and how to disclose appropriately, helping you navigate workplace scenarios with confidence, professionalism, and sensitivity.
Inclusive Employment
This workshop looks at different types of employment and contracts, their rights under UK employment law, and how to identify and challenge workplace discrimination. Each Employability Essentials workshop is designed as a 90-minute, stand-alone session and you can complete them individually based on your interests and professional needs. These workshops are linked to one or more eLearning sessions from the IEP Employability Essentials, which was formerly known as the IEP Sector Induction.
You have the freedom to:
- Pick and choose which workshop aligns with your individual goals or areas of interest.
- This flexibility allows you to tailor your learning experience to your personal career development while still gaining comprehensive skills and knowledge in employability services.
Pathway to Professional Qualifications
This CPD training is also a pathway that leads directly into our professional qualifications, where you can gain deeper knowledge and professional accreditation. While the Employability Essentials Workshops provide the basic underpinning knowledge of each topic and essential information to enhance your practice, it doesn’t replace our full qualifications. Instead, it serves as a stepping stone, preparing you with a solid foundation and the confidence to pursue more advanced learning opportunities.
