On 20th March, the historic Manchester Hall set the stage for the IEP Fellows Dinner – a signature evening event that brought together leaders and changemakers from across the employability sector. Among the attendees was Tiffany Bennett MAIEP, Talent Acquisition Manager at Trigon Recruitment, who received a complimentary ticket to attend the dinner through the IEP’s Member Ambassador initiative.

As a Member Ambassador, Tiffany promotes awareness of the IEP, engages in continuous professional development, attends quarterly meetings, and actively participates in networking events.

“Being a part of the IEP, and now even more exciting, being a Member Ambassador for the IEP, I had the pleasure of attending the Fellows Dinner at the grand Manchester Hall, which was such a beautiful historic venue,” Tiffany said.

The Fellows Dinner, sponsored by CogniSoft, followed a day of insightful learning at the IEP Networking Event held earlier at Elliot House on Deansgate. The dinner provided a more intimate setting where Fellows, aspiring Fellows, and other industry professionals could continue their conversations, share ideas, and explore future opportunities within the sector.

For Tiffany, the evening offered more than just an elegant setting and a fine meal – it was an occasion marked by genuine connection and professional dialogue.

“The Fellows Networking Dinner is such a fabulous evening,” she said.“You get to enjoy fantastic food and engage in stimulating discussions. It is such an enjoyable evening where you get to meet new and familiar faces within our Sector, in which we have the pleasure to be in.”

She highlighted the collaborative spirit of the event, noting that conversations transcended job titles and organisational roles, instead focusing on a shared commitment to the Sector.

“The discussions are always thought-provoking and insightful, and one aspect you truly get from the dinners is the shared commitment everyone has within the Sector, regardless of specific roles.”

Tiffany also praised the IEP team for their professionalism and attention to detail, calling the event “exceptional and well organised.” Her advice to anyone considering attending a future Fellows Dinner was clear:

“If anyone is reading this and unsure if to attend one, then I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.”

The evening served as a fitting conclusion to a day devoted to learning, collaboration, and advancing the standards of the Employability profession – something Tiffany, and indeed the IEP, continues to champion.
