You wouldn’t expect a Formula 1 car to complete a race without fuel. Well the same goes for the hundreds of industry professionals making their way to IEP Basecamp this October. The Digital College is this year’s sponsor of Human Fuel for a reason – great personal development needs great food and drink. But there will be more than just food.
Although Basecamp will be held in the Autumn, The Digital College will be keeping the vibes of summer alive with their ‘Summer Throw Back’ theme. Delegates will be able to relax on summer themed furniture while donning fancy sunglasses. And there will be the chance to ‘send a postcard’ and get a chance to win a spa trip.
As many IEP members know, The Digital College is the leading provider of online training courses for the sector. Many private and public sector organisations choose to use their courses as the most effective and straightforward way to motivate and upskill programme participants via the most accessible platform. This accessibility is ever more important if the industry is to become more adept at supporting participants further away from employment.
For Basecamp, The Digital College will be bringing their experts to share over a decade of knowledge and experience in making online learning a success. Attendees of Basecamp will be able to talk with the members of the team about a variety of topics including:
- best practice in driving engagement of online learning
- how to use e-learning in locations without internet, such as in custody
- the role of e-learning in tackling the scale of demand for ESOL provision
- how do we use technology to remotely support and develop participants in work
You can also take the opportunity to see digital ESOL courses in action, try their offline learning and gather that all important swag – all while wearing funky sunglasses.
Here’s to a successful event, a fantastic opportunity to learn, network and have a final bit of summer!
