Yorkshire Learning Providers and Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) have joined forces to bring YLP members and the wider FE & Employability sector together to explore and discuss greater alignment and collaboration.

We will be joined by Alex Miles FIEP, Managing Director at Yorkshire Learning Providers (YLP), Lou Doyle FIEP, CEO at Mesma, and setting the scene will be IEP’s Group CEO, Scott Parkin FIEP. Join us for a dynamic event bringing together Yorkshire’s FE and skills providers, employability organisations, and local councils to discuss the crucial link between employability and skills training.

This event will highlight the role that both Yorkshire Learning Providers and IEP play in bridging the gap between employability and skills and the importance of collaboration in shaping a skilled and work-ready future workforce. Our expert speakers will share insights on IEP Fellowship, professional development, and best practice in employability and skills alignment.

Yorkshire Learning Providers will also share how the FE, Skills and Employability landscapes are evolving across the Yorkshire region, and how the introduction of new and emerging initiatives, funding streams and opportunities are further cementing the need for our sectors to work more closely together.

This session is a must-attend for IEP and YLP members, FE professionals, and employability specialists looking to strengthen the connection between skills development and workforce readiness. Expect engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and practical takeaways to help drive meaningful change in the sector.

Let’s work together to build a future-ready workforce!
