What a day. What a venue. What a community.
The IEP Summit 2025 was a standout moment in the employability calendar. Held in a stunning new venue that brought the wow factor, this year’s Summit reflected not just the energy of our sector, but our shared ambition to move forward – together.
From the opening session to the final applause, the day was filled with connection, learning and positivity. Every session sparked new ideas, challenged thinking, and reinforced what we already know: this is a sector full of committed, resilient professionals making a real difference.
We were especially proud to welcome delegates from across the UK and around the world, with attendees travelling from the USA, Canada, Australia and Sweden to be part of this growing international conversation. The global reach of the Summit made the dialogue richer and the perspectives deeper.
As Pat Russell FIEP said in her closing remarks:
“Every session today has had a positive. It’s had an upbeat. It’s had: ‘Look, you know, this is change. This is going to be a challenge – but we can do this.’”
And we did. We embraced challenge, explored opportunity, and celebrated progress. Pat captured the spirit of the day when she said:
“This sector is resilient. It’s been through changes before – whether that’s political change, labour market change, whatever it is. And we do come through. We do find ways. But I think this time, we are in a much better place than we have been previously… we are genuinely working together more collaboratively.”
