These are exciting times for our IEP Australia team, as we welcome a significant number of new members to our fellowship program.

Since the start of 2025, close to 20 employability sector leaders have received Fellowship, while many more are currently going through the application process.

Fellowship of the IEP gives members the opportunity to connect with sector leaders around the country, sharing best practice and ideas to improve the quality of service our providers deliver.

“I have the great pleasure of networking and sourcing interest for new prospective Fellows,” Matt Crossingham FIEP, IEP Australia Partnership Manager, says.

“Some are old acquaintances from my time in the sector, some are former leaders from organisations I have worked for, and the remainder are new connections, which is fantastic.

“For the IEP to provide a Fellowship where senior leaders can network, collaborate, share best practice and views on policy or procedures – in a space where only positivity and care for the sector exists – it’s truly an amazing thing to see and be a part of.

“During my time with the IEP, our Fellowship applications have almost doubled, and the most common feedback is that it’s great to finally have some recognition and a title to show the hard work and years of dedication to the sector.

“Being awarded and recognised as a fellow is something that has been missing and means a great deal to our Fellowship, recognising the great contributions they have made and continue to make each day.

“I really enjoy being a part of the process, enabling positive change and future thinking to foster collaboration between providers and support organisations. It’s a truly unique and uplifting experience that provides great hope for our sector.”

We want our Fellows to be active members of the IEP community and support others where they can, to drive the continued professionalisation of the sector and be an ambassador for the IEP.

You can make your mark through written contributions or guest speaker roles, we can also link you up with other fellows, providing access to career development opportunities such as mentor or board positions.
