We are excited to introduce one of our latest IEP Fellows in the UK: Samantha Saunders FIEP, Head of Operations at Jobs 22!
Samantha has worked in Employability for about 24 years, beginning her career as an advisor during the New Deal era – an initiative aimed at reducing unemployment through training, subsidised jobs and voluntary work.
“It was the best job I had ever done,” said Samantha.
“In my mid-twenties, I discovered my true purpose in life: helping people and making a difference.
“My sales and influencing skills came in handy, and I quickly moved up the ranks. I’ve had the privilege of working across various contracts, from local government and Learning and Skills Council projects to prime DWP contracts.
“The Employability Sector is certainly challenging and requires a lot of resilience. But that’s precisely why I love it. I believe that my knowledge and skills can contribute significantly to shaping the future of this field. I am eager to support and network with other like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about making a difference.”
