A huge congratulations to Claudine Adeyemi-Adams FIEP, David Elsmere FIEP and Veejay Patel MBE FIEP, who have been shortlisted as finalists for the IEP Fellow of the Year Award 2025, kindly sponsored by Fedcap.
The finalists were nominated by our community of Fellows and voted on at a recent judging panel for the IEP Fellow of the Year:
Claudine Adeyemi-Adams FIEP
Claudine was nominated for using her lived experience to create innovative, tech-driven solutions like Earlybird support, improving accessibility and efficiency in employability services. She shares her expertise widely and inspires others with her belief in making things better, contributing nationally and internationally.
Veejay Patel FIEP
Veejay was recognised for over four decades of leadership and innovation in employability, consistently evolving to meet diverse community needs. His career reflects a deep commitment to the transformative power of work and has made a lasting impact on the sector.
David Elsmere FIEP
David was nominated for his leadership in workforce development, especially in digital skills and inclusive employment policy. He is known for mentoring others, advancing services in Wales, and fostering collaboration, with a deep commitment to the IEP and supporting professionals in the sector.
A Word from Last Year’s Winner
Liz Sewell FIEP, Director at Belina Grow, was awarded the prestigious IEP Fellow of the Year Award at the IEP Summit 2024 Networking Dinner.
“I want to thank the IEP, my fellow Fellows and the Sector for allowing me to be their Fellow of the Year,” Liz said. “The IEP is our organisation – as individuals we join together to make our sector better. So it was an honour to be made Fellow of the year.”
