The IEP team, in collaboration with Fedcap Canada, has completed the blueprint phase for its CfEE contribution, with an initial focus on aligning projects to support the Employment Ontario system and Service System Manager (SSM) outcomes. The groundwork has been laid across three key pillars:
1. In-Work Support, Employer Engagement, and Policy Insight
Key areas have been scoped for future exploration, including: · In-work support models and sustainability mechanisms · Employer engagement practices tied to labour market needs and retention · The impact of policy and funding frameworks on frontline delivery and performance
2. Practitioner Development & Quality Framework Integration
Preparations are underway to embed IEP’s Quality Improvement Framework (QIF) into practitioner development. The Employability Essentials Canada program, now post-pilot, is positioned to support system-aligned onboarding and continuous improvement.
3. Inclusive Service Design
IEP has scoped future work focused on participants with complex or persistent barriers. This line of inquiry will explore ways to improve outcomes for Stream D and Ontario Works clients.
The discovery phase is set to begin in approximately six weeks, marking the next step in translating the blueprint into actionable insight.
