We are continuing to strengthen our leadership offer with a number of developments taking place over the coming months, focused on supporting leaders and managers across the Employability sector.
IEP Award in Leadership and People Management – Pilot Launching in June
This June, we will pilot the IEP Award in Leadership and People Management, with sessions scheduled for:
- 17th June
- 24th June
- 1st July
This three-day programme is designed for both new and experienced leaders and managers, as well as aspiring leaders and managers, working across employability, skills and community programmes. It focuses on building the knowledge, confidence and practical tools needed to lead high-performing teams, support staff development, and manage performance effectively.
Structured across three core areas, the programme will explore:
- the transition from practitioner to leader
- how to develop and support people through communication and coaching
- approaches to managing performance and driving results
The pilot will bring together a small group of participants to test a more interactive, peer-based approach to leadership development. Learning from this initial cohort will inform future delivery and refinement of the programme.
This pilot forms one part of a wider leadership offer, with further development and programmes to follow.
We are inviting expressions of interest from those who would like to be part of this initial pilot group.
