Welcome to the IEP Learning Academy

At the IEP Learning Academy, we create unique and innovative learning opportunities designed for employability professionals worldwide. Our learner-centred approach ensures skills, knowledge, and behaviours are effectively transferred to the workplace.

Working with expert partners, we deliver accredited programs, qualifications, CPD, and resources that are engaging, evidence-based, and built around the real challenges of frontline practice.

Alongside direct delivery, organisations can also partner with us as IEP Satellite Centres, delivering IEP-accredited learning through their own teams underpinned by our quality standards and frameworks.

Whether accessed directly or through a Satellite Centre, the Learning Academy provides lasting impact for individuals, organisations, and the wider sector.

The Employability Essentials Workshops

Employability Essentials Workshops are 90-minute virtual classrooms designed to build on the foundations of the IEP Award in Employability Essentials.

These interactive sessions let you dive deeper into key topics, choosing the workshops that best match your interests and career goals. Whether you want to strengthen specific skills or broaden your knowledge, the workshops provide practical, focused learning you can apply straight away in your role.

The IEP program provides an industry standard approach to critical learning including caseload management, overcoming barriers, writing an effective CV and coaching techniques. The package of support also contains specialist training such as how to support people with sensory impairments, learning as well as physical disabilities and helping to build self-resilience. We believe that this qualification provides practitioners with the right foundations to make the best start in their career at Maximus and has directly contributed towards the recent performance we have been achieving.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to supporting our people and their continuous development, and through our partnership with the IEP, we have been able to ensure that all our frontline coaches are qualified to at least IEP Employability Sector Level 2 (Employability Essentials) and explore opportunities for Level 3 and beyond. Apart from the obvious benefits to the thousands of people supported by the Restart Scheme, this investment is also a clear sign to our people that we are committed to them and will provide the tools they need to do well in the employability profession. Having started out as a frontline coach myself, I understand its value so I’m extremely passionate about it.

I really want to highlight the brilliance of the The IEP Learning Academy and the wonderful range of courses that they offer to upskill and develop our most valuable resource: our people. There is no better way to reward your team than investing in their development. And there is no faster, more reliable, way to improve performance either.
