Kevin Green Headshot

2/05/2025

The IEP is thrilled to announce the third speaker for the IEP Summit 2025, taking place on 12 June at 116 Pall Mall, London, and proudly sponsored by City & Guilds – Kevin Green, Chief People Officer at First Bus and a renowned leader in organisational transformation and people strategy. Kevin’s appearance will mark the first time the IEP have had an employer speaking at the Summit.

Kevin brings an extraordinary depth of experience to this year’s Summit, where he will be discussing finding, developing and retaining talent with the Employability Sector. At First Bus – one of the UK’s largest transport operators – he has introduced a sweeping, people-first transformation strategy, championing ‘People Centricity’ to create a culture where behaviour, purpose, and values align. Under his leadership, initiatives like inclusion networks, a ‘Celebrating our Differences’ program for managers, and quarterly engagement surveys are reshaping the business into a more human, inclusive, and high-performing organisation.

Kevin’s track record includes leading major turnarounds (including Royal Mail’s £2 billion swing to profitability), publishing the bestselling Competitive People Strategy, and becoming a trusted voice in media on the UK jobs market. He’s also an acclaimed TEDx speaker, known for delivering compelling insights on global labour markets, leadership, and building high-performance cultures.

Kevin joins a growing Summit line-up that now features three trailblazing voices tackling the future of work from unique perspectives:

Dr Nina Jörden – University of Cambridge

The Summit’s first announced speaker, Dr Jörden is a Research Associate at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. She’ll lead a powerful seminar on AI in the Employability Sector: Understanding the hype and making a real impact, exploring the intersections of tech, management, and wellbeing.

Bolaji Olatoye – Altitude AI Consulting

We’re equally proud to confirm Bolaji Olatoye as our second speaker. An internationally recognised AI strategist and founder of Altitude AI Consulting, Bolaji has over 18 years of experience leading digital transformation across investment banking, government, and SMEs. His mission? Making AI practical, human-centred, and jargon-free.

In his session, Demystifying AI: Practical Insights for the Employability Sector, Bolaji will cut through the buzzwords and offer real-world takeaways tailored for frontline professionals. Expect to leave with a clear understanding of AI’s impact on the world of work – and the confidence to lead informed conversations with your teams and service users

With these three powerful voices on stage, IEP Summit 2025 is shaping up to be our most dynamic and impactful event yet. And with a new home at 116 Pall Mall, we’re creating space for more collaboration, deeper conversations, and stronger connections.
