We are excited to share that Sharon Marshall FIEP, Employment Strategy Manager at Step Up, is our IEP UK Member of the Month for March 2025!
Sharon was nominated by the IEP team, who said:
“We are delighted to recognise Sharon Marshall as our Member of the Month in appreciation of her outstanding contributions to the IEP community.
“A dedicated and passionate employability professional and Fellow of the IEP, Sharon has made a significant impact, offering her expertise and insight to support our local authority growth plans. Her willingness to speak at our networking event with honesty and openness has helped foster meaningful discussions, and she continues to play a key role in connecting the IEP with new organisations that may not yet be familiar with our mission.
“Beyond this, Sharon actively participates in our Fellows Collectives, where she consistently raises awareness of local authority considerations, helping to shape discussions that drive real change in employability and skills.

Sharon said she was “delighted and quite amazed” to have been recognised as UK Member of the Month for March 2025.
“It’s fabulous that the industry recognises the knowledge and experience of its members. I’m just pleased that my contributions have been helpful.”
The Member of the Month award recognises IEP Members who have performed in an exceptional way by exemplifying outstanding service through their work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude which goes above and beyond. This includes services for participants, team members or colleagues. Nominations are put forward by the IEP team.
At the end of the year, each IEP Member of the Month winner will be entered into a competition for one individual to win our Annual Member of the Year Award. The winner of this award will be announced at IEP Basecamp 2025.
