David Kingsley MAIEP, Deputy House Manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK and IEP UK Member of the Month August 2024, says the IEP has been transformative for his career.

David, who is a perfect example of what the IEP has always promoted – ‘Employability practitioners everywhere are the best that they can be’ – has completed the following IEP Accredited Programs:

• Award in Employability Essentials (AwardEE)

• Understanding Neurodiversity

• Over 50’s Employability Support

• Award in Mental Health in Employability (AwardMH)

• IEP Level 2 Accredited Sector Induction Certificate

He said he’s gained significant value from completing IEP Accredited Learning.

“After discovering the organisation in late 2023, I’ve had the opportunity to undertake several training courses that have greatly enhanced my skills and knowledge in employability support,” David says.

“Prior to this, I was already supporting young people in their employment journeys, but these courses have expanded my expertise, equipped me with sector-relevant qualifications, and enabled me to join the IEP as a member. I’ve also been fortunate to receive a bursary, allowing me to pursue additional training and further develop my professional capabilities.

“The experience has been transformative for my career, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals has been invaluable. I highly recommend exploring what the IEP has to offer!”
