We are pleased to announce that Placer has become a Capability Partner of the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP).
Placer works in partnership to increase the work readiness of young people to help them move from education or unemployment into apprenticeships and work.
Through Placer’s Skills Academy they deliver their Work Readiness Programme in partnership with Employability organisations and Employability professionals, consisting of:
- 32 CPD-accredited online training courses to choose from such as Time Management, Teamwork Skills, Stress Management, Speaking Confidently etc.
- DISC psychometric assessment to help increase self-awareness on behaviour traits combined with recommendations for self-development and career ideas
- Unlimited access to our AI Interview Coach to help practice interviews with coaching feedback to improve delivery
Through the Placer Apprenticeships platform, they can also help young people secure apprenticeships by surfacing apprenticeship opportunities to apply for, combined with being discovered directly through partnerships with apprenticeship recruiters.
Placer also has an Inspiration Blog, featuring two new apprentices every week sharing their stories, challenges and advice on how to move from education or unemployment into apprenticeships.
