I am truly honoured to be recognised as a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals, joining a community of highly respected leaders who are shaping the future of our sector. This recognition reflects not only my personal journey but also the collective commitment to advancing excellence and impact across the employability landscape.
Employability is a lifeline for many of the most vulnerable members of our society. With clear evidence showing that meaningful work and skills development are powerful drivers of improved health and wellbeing, those of us in this field remain deeply passionate and committed to the work we do – helping individuals transform their lives through opportunity and empowerment.
With over two decades of international experience across the UK, UAE, and KSA, I have led transformational workforce initiatives that align with national employment and skills agendas. My career includes contributing to landmark programs such as the New Deal, Flexible New Deal, and the Work Programme in the UK, as well as playing a pivotal role in the design, Implementation and leadership of large-scale employment initiatives in Saudi Arabia, including TAQAT, Tamkeen and Hammayah.
At Maximus Gulf, our goal is simple yet powerful to move people forward toward a better future. We are dedicated to improving lives through innovative workforce solutions that create lasting social and economic impact. By partnering with key commissioners such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) and the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), we continue to deliver meaningful outcomes that contribute to national development and societal progress.
The IEP plays a vital role in driving excellence across the employability sector – supporting practitioners, setting professional standards, and providing trusted guidance to the profession. By combining the strong internal support given to colleagues, with the expertise and leadership of their professional body, the IEP ensures customers receive a service that is both high-quality and impact-driven.
I look forward to working closely with Scott Parkin FIEP and the IEP team to champion best practice across the sector – fostering collaboration, strengthening partnerships, and driving growth in initiatives that enhance skills development and professional excellence.
