Training and Qualifications FAQ

What training is available through IEP?

IEP works with its 'Endorsed by IEP' partners to provide access to a range of high quality training courses, some of which are made available to members at IEP events.

I would really like to speak to someone about how to progress my career, can IEP help?

There are several ways in which IEP can help.  Aside from developing a framework of qualifications, the ‘Endorsed by IEP’ scheme provides a badge of recognition through a short course programme or other training opportunities that may help to improve your performance

If you have specific questions, please email enquiries@iemployability.org

What is Continued Professional Development (CPD)?

IEP defines CPD as activities which enable employability practitioners to maintain the competence, knowledge and skills central to their job roles and to pursue successful professional careers in employability services sector.

What forms of CPD are recognised by IEP?

IEP recognises a wide range of activities for the purposes of CPD.  Some are known to require high levels of input from the learner and have a high impact. For example, attending an IEP endorsed training course or participating in coaching.  IEP also recognises wider activities that have a lower impact and require less effort from the learner such as writing a blog or attending a meeting.

Can you tell me about relevant qualifications in my field?

IEP has worked with over leading sector employers to develop a framework of qualifications. In partnership with ABC Awards, IEP provides a suite of qualifications at Levels 3 and 4, which were developed in consultation with employers.
