Members 4 Members

As you might expect, there is a vast array of knowledge existing with the IEP membership.  Members 4 Members (M4M) aims to encourage links between IEP members to share knowledge and increase professionalism across the sector.

If you’ve attended an IEP event, you’ll have seen the passion, willingness and enthusiasm to share contacts, resources and other information.  That has already led to the development of new initiatives and better ways of working.

Share your knowledge

M4M is about helping other members by sharing information on topics about which they are passionate or may have a concern about.  If you have specialist knowledge or wide-ranging experience you could become a mentor.  It’s by no means an arduous task and IEP will guide you.

Looking for a mentor?

M4M offers a number of different routes for members to engage with colleagues:

  • The IEP website - This provides a number of ways to interact with others in the industry.  Search the Fellows directory or find other members with particular expertise in the secure members area.
  • Social Media – Join the IEP Group on LinkedIn or follow on Twitter - @IepInfo .  Share your knowledge with others through open discussion, or send out a call for help or support from other members.
  • Networking Events – M4M mentors may be leading discussions and events are always a great place to find out who the experts are in a particular subject.
  • M4M Toolkit – M4M does not stop with just sharing knowledge.  Outcomes from M4M interventions can build into a useful resource to help others.

Whether you are a potential mentor or mentee, you can start the process right here by registering for the service.  Just use the form below.  Giving advice or receiving it, you’re in for a rewarding experience.
