As we all know, staff members in the employability sector often have busy days, large caseloads and the pressures of targets, alongside competing priorities such as a personal life. Therefore the IEP have partnered with The Better Health Generation (TBHG) to provide mental health services to IEP Members who may benefit from additional support during these challenging times.
As an organisation, TBHG have provided health and wellbeing services to national and local organisations that employ staff with wide-ranging skills and experience, qualifications and backgrounds, including employability, health, corporate services, hospitality, public services, finance, HR and sales and many more.
TBHG’s registered mental health nurses, adult nurses and occupational therapists work with staff presenting with various personal and work-related issues including, but not limited to, mental health conditions, domestic violence, workplace conflict, substance use / misuse, family and relationships, resilience, grief and loss, health and illness (including absence from, and returning to the workplace), addiction, trauma, motivation, and stress management, using the most appropriate evidence-based interventions, for example and not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, vocation-related Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Counselling.
Being an experienced health provider within the Employability sector, TBHG understand the unique needs and pressures of the employability practice and want to help as either an individual, or for your organisation to develop and maintain workplace wellbeing through times of change, by offering advice and assistance that is tailored to the employability sector.
