IEP Welcome Sak Awan FIEP as our latest Fellow

IEP are delighted to announce that Sak Awan FIEP, Director of Employability and Skills at S Knights Recruitment has become our latest Fellow.

Speaking of his new Fellowship Sak said “I was honoured to be approached about becoming a Fellow of the IEP; to have my contribution and passion for the sector recognised and validated by leaders of the industry has become a milestone in my career and a moment I am extremely proud of.

Having exclusively recruited professionals into the Employability & Skills sector over the last 11 years, I have seen change in policy, funding, agenda’s and priorities, but one thing that remains unequivocally constant, is the hard work and vigour of the professionals that support people back into the Labour market.

I am in the fortunate position of being involved and leading on a number of projects within the sector and both recruitment and non-recruitment related, which has given me a genuine appreciation of some of the challenges faced by the sector as well as some of the phenomenal work the industry does. Having recruited nationally across Employability and Skills from Admin up to Director Level we have an unprecedented insight into the sector and ability understand the challenges we face.

By becoming a Fellow to the IEP I will continue to act as an ambassador, making our sector a career choice for people, as oppose to a career we fall into … and fall in love with. I want to continue building meaningful relationships and partnerships and continue sourcing the bast talent in the market for some of the best Employability Providers across the UK.”
