IEP Corporate Affiliate Partners RNIB – supporting employability professionals to support clients with sight loss

We’re the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities and the UK’s largest community of blind and partially sighted people.

We recognise everyone’s unique experience of sight loss and offer help and support for blind and partially sighted people – this can be anything from practical and emotional support, campaigning for change, reading services and the products we offer in our online shop.

Everyday 250 people begin to lose their sight. RNIB has a crucial role to play in creating a world where there are no barriers to the ambitions of people with sight loss. At RNIB we believe that blind or partially sighted people should not be excluded from employment - nor should sight loss equal job loss.

RNIB can help employment professionals like you to support clients with sight loss. We work with partners to deliver tailored employment solutions, and we have developed tools to help blind and partially sighted people find work.

We have a range of guides and toolkits available, designed to equip employability  professionals with knowledge, tools and confidence to support working age people with sight loss trying to find or stay in work. Our trained advisors can help you to identify the types of support needed and will help you to build a relevant action plan.
