15 – 21 September 2025 | Promotional Activity Throughout the Month
#neverstoplearning #adultlearnersweek
Do you work in Wales? Then here’s your chance to showcase the power of lifelong learning with Adult Learners Week in Wales. From 15–21 September 2025, with events happening throughout the month, Learning and Work Institute and Welsh Government are inviting organisations, training providers, and community leaders to be part of the biggest national celebration of adult learning and skills.
Whether you deliver essential skills sessions, digital workshops, wellbeing activities, or career-focused courses – this is your opportunity to shout about the incredible impact you’re making and inspire others to discover the life-changing benefits of adult learning.
Why Adult Learners’ Week Matters
Lifelong learning changes lives. It builds confidence, improves health and wellbeing, supports career progression, and opens new doors. But too often, adult learning goes unseen. That’s why this campaign shines a spotlight on learners’ stories, celebrates providers’ achievements, and raises awareness about the vital role learning plays in building a stronger, fairer Wales.
Adult Learners’ Week is for everyone – from people looking to retrain or re-enter the workforce, to those seeking personal growth or connection.
What Can You Do?
Get behind the campaign
Help raise awareness by sharing your success stories and showcasing how your organisation supports adult learners. From upskilling participants in digital literacy to helping parents gain confidence to return to work – your stories matter. They help build a culture where learning is normalised, celebrated, and accessible to all.
Host an event
Run an online taster session, a community workshop, or an informal learning group. Add your event to the Adult Learners’ Week platform and become part of a multi-media campaign promoted across Wales via Working Wales and Learning and Work Institute. It’s easy to upload your activity – and completely free.
Share your learners’ voices
The theme for Monday 15 September is Learner Voices – and your participants are the best advocates for adult learning. Share their journeys, challenges, and successes to inspire others. Use video, quotes, blogs or case studies and tag the campaign hashtags.
