We are launching a new series of online masterclasses designed to give employability professionals around Australia access to the latest best practice developed across the globe.
Our Elevation series features eight lunch time masterclasses, with the first being held on March 18.
The 90-minute masterclasses build upon the learning undertaken in the IEP Award in Employability Essentials e-Learning and topics range from employment law and understanding employment barriers, to emotional intelligence and coaching with impact.
“This series of masterclasses is an exciting opportunity for Australian practitioners to practice and discuss the skills we teach in our Award in Employability Essentials course,” Lauren Peacock, IEP Learning & Development Business Partner Australia, says.
“Our induction course is the most comprehensive offer in the market, with modules on case management and personal effectiveness, specialist cohorts including ex-offenders and people with disabilities, and employability coaching skills.

April 8 – Optimising Your Practitioner Toolkit
- Designed to enhance skills and strategies, focus on improving participant engagement, time management and caseload prioritisation.
May 6 – Emotional Intelligence in Action
- Empowers practitioners to enhance their emotional intelligence (EI) and apply it effectively in their work with participants.
July 8 – Inclusive Employability: Mastering Adjustments
- Explores the legal framework around reasonable adjustments, identify common barriers and the tools and solutions available to practitioners.
August 12 – The Art of Disclosure
- Covers legal protections and obligations, as well as strategies for discussing mental health, disability and criminal records with employers.
September 9 – Employment Law for Practitioners
- Covers key topics such as understanding various types of employment, pay arrangements and flexible work options.
November 11 – Coaching with Impact
- Fundamentals such as active listening, effective questioning, and the application of Transactional Analysis to improve communication.
December 9 – Overcoming Employment Support Barriers
- Learn actionable steps to better support clients, enhance professional impact and foster positive employment outcomes.
