Central London Forward is one of four Sub Regional Partnerships (SRPs) in London, alongside South London Partnership, Local London, and West London Alliance. Established in 2007, CLF’s membership includes Camden, City of London, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Lewisham, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, and Westminster. Liz Millington FIEP, Senior Programmes Manager, Central London Forward said; “With the increased focus on devolution, Central London Forward is keen to ensure we are fully supporting our Borough members in building on their successful delivery of employability support for their residents. By joining the IEP as a Corporate Affiliate Partner, CLF can share the benefits of membership with all 12 local authority partners, providing access to a wealth of support for both managers and caseworkers: accredited training, online learning, networking opportunities, podcasts, mentoring, and more.”
This partnership will allow CLF’s member Boroughs to leverage IEP’s expertise in employability to further enhance the skills of their employability teams. Several Boroughs, including Haringey and Tower Hamlets are already engaging with IEP’s training resources, such as the Award in AI for Employability learning, demonstrating the immediate value of this collaboration. By equipping staff with practical skills and up-to-date training, CLF and IEP aim to improve service delivery and support residents more effectively across Central London.
The IEP looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with Central London Forward and hopes this partnership will serve as a model for other regional groups across the UK. This alliance underlines IEP’s ongoing commitment to fostering professional development and delivering meaningful support to employment professionals across various sectors.
